Experience a hand-made authentic Mongolian yurt at our farm in Alexandria, ON. Located halfway between Ottawa and Montreal, this is a four-season, easy to get to glamping experience. Enjoy the farm as a serene escape from the city or a romantic getaway for two. There is so much to take in!
What Can You Enjoy As Part of Your Yurt Stay?
One queen size and one single bed with bedding and towels
Pellet stove (pellets included) and an electric heater for backup
Fridge, microwave, electric kettle with complementary tea and coffee, plates & cutlery
Drinking water and a small sink with tap water
Composting toilet
Access to our communal kitchen & washroom
Candles and an outside fire pit
Board games available on request
Charcoal or propane BBQ available on request
A Yurt to Remember
The farm is a perfect location for walks, cycling trips, stargazing and campfires. In winter, the setting for cross-country skiing and snowshoeing is breathtaking. Our Farm can also be accessed from the Ontario skidoo trail. The town of Alexandria is only minutes away with all amenities and many restaurants. Within a 5km radius, you can visit Stone House Winery and Wood Brothers Craft Brewery… or even experience Skydiving at the local airfield minutes away. The St-Lawrence River is nearby and offers beautiful trails. We’ll be happy to brief you on the options upon arrival.
