The best of both worlds with its higher walls and steeper roof pitch, the super ger offers most qualities of an authentic Mongolian ger, with the proportion of her modern cousin. It has roughly the same diameter as the 5-wall. Its bigger volume makes it a little less efficient in a very cold climate… but you can always buy a second layer of felt! The Super Ger yurt can be used as a vacation home or cabin, a studio/office, or even as a temporary home – the possibilities are limitless!

House wrap

This pre-cut layer of breathing membrane is placed between the felt insulation and canvas. It is made of a high-quality permeable roof underlay and a sheet of standard house wrap for the walls. It offers optimal weather resistance, while still allowing the yurt to breathe.
